With a large .470" bore and appropriately balanced bell and mouthpipe, the Kanstul Model 1070 "Big Band" model has a big sound and free-blowing feel, but with the appropriate resistance necessary to play all night. At home on stage or in the studio, this trumpet has the "sparkle" and brilliance that big band and Latin players are looking for.

Just purchased a Kanstul Bb Trumpet Model 1070. First new horn for me in 35 years. Large bore - free blowing in all ranges - pitch is consistent - sound soars in my upper register while also providing a rich sound in the middle register. I absolutely love it! Great horn!
